WHAT IS THE ACC WRITTEN EXAM?


ACC stands for Army Cadet College where the ACC Wing trains soldiers from the regular army for commission as Officers in the Indian Army. The ACC operates into the Indian Military Academy Dehradun. It has been operating for over 80 years and has graduated many notable alumni.  For getting eligibility, a solider needs to have 10+2 qualification along with the age limit is up to 26 years.


Below Is The Eligibility Criterion:

  • Education Requirement: 10+2
  • Training: Four Years (Three Years in ACC Wing and one Year at IMA)
  • Degree Remark: Graduate Degree from ACC Wing
  • Age: 26 years
  • Marital Status: Married or Unmarried

HOW TO APPLY FOR ACC EXAM?


ACC entry scheme is only for soldiers who are serving the Indian army and not available in the public domain. For applying for the ACC exam, you can contact the concerned department of your unit for such entries.


EXAM PATTERN OF ACC WRITTEN EXAMINATION


The ACC examination consists of four tests:

Paper 1 – General Mental ability test (GMAT) â€“ The main purpose of GMAT is to test the candidate’s intellectual ability. There are two types of questions which are Argument and data sufficiency.


Paper 2 – Current & General awareness test (CGAT) â€“ This test will be based on testing the candidate’s general awareness about the environment around him.


Paper 3 – Interactive Communicative English (ICE) â€“ This test is conducted for testing the candidate’s understanding and knowledge in the English language in communicative skills.


Paper 4 – Academic Content Test (ACT) â€“ This test covers mathematics, general science, and humanities, etc.


SYLLABUS FOR ACC WRITTEN EXAMINATION



The selection for admission to the ACC exam is based on a written test and subsequent selection is based on the service selection board. The nature of training at ACC is the same as NDA and ACC candidates. After going through the ACC exam syllabus, you must plan accordingly as it is really vast and hard. You will definitely need 3 to 4 months of constant practice.

RESULTS OF ACC EXAMINATION


You can get the results of the ACC written exam in 3-4 months after the written exam. The same can be viewed on https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/. This is a competitive exam and therefore, there is no fixed cut off percentage for passing. Candidates who perform better than receive the call letters for SSB interviews. The final merit list is prepared after the final result of SSB interviews and displayed on the Indian Army website. Students can get joining instructions based on vacancies available as per the merit list.
