RMS Admission 2024 – Rashtriya Military Schools of India offer admission to the students through the RMS-CET (Common Entrance Test) exam. The RMS admission application can be submitted from September 18 to October 25, 2023, till 20:00 hrs. This year RMS has offered the admission to the girls in class 9th also. Registration for the 9th class girl cadets will begin from November 13, 2023, at 10 a.m. and continue until November 23, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. RMS Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to classes 6 and 9. RMS Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Whenever you are applying for the admission to Rashtriya Military School, its eligibility criteria are important factor which one should check and understand carefully. RMS admission 2024 has strict eligibility criteria and admission of a candidate will be based on the criteria mentioned in the RMS Admission 2024 Notification.. Age Requirement:
- Boys/Girls aged between 10-12 years as of 31 March 2021 (born between 01 April 2009 to 31 March 2011, both days inclusive) for admission to class 6.
- Boys/Girls aged between 13-15 years as of 31 March 2021 (born between 01 April 2006 to 31 March 2008, both days inclusive) for admission to Class 9.
Note: Six months of relaxation in the upper age limit is permissible for students of personnel killed in Action.
Education Qualification:
- For admission to Class 6, one should have passed class 5, for admission to Class 9, one should have passed Class 8 from a government/recognized school before the date of admission to a Rashtriya Military School.

RMS Admission 2024 Process:
Admission into classes 6 and 9 is on the basis of available vacancies in each school. Parents/students should also note that all admissions are in the category of Boarders only. Admission to day scholars is not allowed. RMS admissions 2024 for Class 6th and 9th are conducted in two stages. The first stage is the Common Entrance Test. After clearing the Rashtriya Military School CET 2024, students are called for an interview followed by a medical exam.
- Written Test: An OMR-based written exam is conducted for class 6 and 9. The medium of the paper is bilingual (Hindi and English) for Class 6 and only English of Class 9.
- Interview: Students who qualify the exam will be called for an interview at RMS. The marks of the interview will be added to the written test score to prepare a merit list.
- Result & Medical Test: Merit list of successful candidates and the school allotment will be announced. All the students will go through a medical fitness test and students found medically unfit will not be admitted.
Rashtriya Military Schools Admissions 2024 Form:
The prospectus and application form for RMS admissions 2023-24 will be available in online mode. Students/parents have to apply online for the RMS-CET on the official website of Rashtriya Military Schools https://www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in/.
Before filling the admission form, students need to have all the required documents with them along with a scanned copy of photo and signature. The admission form fee payment will be done online.

RMS Admit Card 2023:
Admit card will be uploaded in the student Login account before 7-10 days of Exam date. It is the most important document you have to take to the examination hall. In fact, you will not be allowed to enter without it. Along with this, RMS Admission admits card will have all the details of your examination venue, date, and time. You can easily download the admit card by following some simple steps:

RMS reserves some seats for students of various categories. Check the detailed reservation criteria below:

70% of seats are reserved for the wards of serving and retired JCOs/OR those in the Army, Navy and Air Force.

30% of seats are reserved for the wards of Officers and civilians.

27%,15%, and 7.5% of the seats in each category (excluding Officer Category) are reserved for OBC Non-creamy layer, SC and ST candidates respectively.
