Today, UPSC has published NDA 1 2021 notification, Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 18th April 2021 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 147th Course, and for the 109th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January 2022. In this article we are going to discuss NDA 1 2021 exam date, notification date, age limits, vacancies, educational qualification, cut off, syllabus, paper pattern and much more.
The NDA entrance examination is a national level entrance examination, which is conducted twice in a year by the Union Public Service Commission to recruit the young aspirants into the regular Army, Navy and Air Force. Every year lakhs of applications are submitted by the young candidates from all parts of the country. Candidates who are willing to join the regular forces as officers, this is the gateway to serving the nation. NDA examination consists of 2 phases written exam and followed by SSB Interview.

ToggleEducational Qualifications for NDA 1 2021:
- For Army Wing: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings and Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
Age for NDA 1 2021:
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July 2002 and not later than 1st July 2005 are eligible for NDA 1 2021.

NDA 1 2021 Application Procedure:
Follow the below-given steps to apply the NDA 1 2021 notification:
- Candidates are required to apply online by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in
- Click on Part I and submit your personal and contact details.
- Get your registration id and head to Part 2 of the application form.
- Select the mode of depositing the fees of Rs. 100/-
- Select your centre of examination.
- Then upload our photo and signature in mentioned file size and dimensions.
- Then check your declaration and submit the form.
- Download a copy of the application form for future use
NDA 1 2021 Selection Procedure:
To select the candidates UPSC follows 2 stages of the selection process. As this is a national level entrance examination the applications will be very high to imagine. So, they follow the below method to select the candidates:
- Written Examination
- SSB Interview
- Medical Test
- Document Verification
- Merit List
The approximate number of vacancies to be filled on the results of this examination will be as under :
Examination Pattern:
The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:
The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (test booklets) of mathematics and part “B” of general ability test will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English.
SSB Interview:
The candidates who qualify in written examination will be called for SSB Interview from the available centres in India.
- Stage I – Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR), Picture perception, and Description Test.
- Stage II – Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference
Medical Test:
Candidates who qualify in SSB Interview they should stay 2-3 days more at the SSB Center to undergo medical tests conducted by the board. To qualify a medical test, the candidate should be fit both mentally and physically.
NDA & NA Previous Years Cutoff Marks:
Find the below-given cutoff marks of the NDA & NA Exams in previous years. This is the minimum qualifying standard approved at the written stage and the marks secured be the last recommended candidate at the final stage of the examination.
